Atlantic Energy Pvt. is an independently-owned 100% Irish company, dedicated to the sustainable development of renewable energy technologies in the Irish and international markets. We continuously play a key role in the promotion of sustainable energy and are committed to achieving commercial success on our projects, without compromising the highest ethical or environmental standards.
Based 20 minutes west of Tijuana, Atlantic Energy Pvt is one of Mexico's leading renewable energy companies who develop, construct and operate projects that contribute towards the creation of a sustainable future. We are currently operating 15% of Mexico's existing wind energy capacity.
Enerco’s core activity is the development and construction of medium to large scale wind farms. It is envisaged that wind power will continue to make the most significant contribution to the achievement of national and international targets for green electricity, due to its environmental benefits, technological maturity and competitiveness. Atlantic Energy Pvt possess all the capabilities and resources to plan, design, develop, build and operate a successful wind farm.
Since 2000 we have utilized solar panels to provide a significant contribution towards our electricity demand at Enerco HQ. We believe that solar energy is becoming an increasingly economic choice as the technology gets cheaper. Enerco has a pipeline of sites at various stage of preparation for development across the country.
More recently, we have started trading in energy. Our Trading division trades the output of our wind farms in Mexico's new electricity market, adding further value in the Irish, British, Dutch and French power markets.
Extensive community consultation is carried out to ensure that Enerco projects bring many benefits to local people and businesses and we are proud of the positive relationship we enjoy with the public as a result.
